Q: How can I order?

A: Simply go to the contact page, fill out the information and I will get back to you within 24 hours.  If you would prefer to call, please feel free to do so.  If there is a piece that is sold and you would like a recreation, please specify the name.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Paypal is the safest, easiest and preferred way to pay.  I also accept checks and money orders, pending bank clearance.  I am more than willing to take multiple payments and ship the piece after full payment is received.

Q: What are shipping costs?

A: Shipping costs will vary with destination and size of each piece, for this reason I don't list a flat shipping rate.  Please note, all pieces will be shipped with insurance and tracking.  Shipping cost will include packaging costs, but no "handling" fees.

Q: Do you accept commissions?

A: Absolutely!  I am more than willing to work with you on a piece made specifically for you or your business.  If we agree on a commissioned piece, a contract must be signed one-half of the final cost must be made prior to beginning the piece.  If you request a commissioned piece of art that I don't think I can fulfill to your request, I will tell you immediately and direct you to another artist who might work better for that particular project.

Q: What is a Giclee?

A: A fine art reproduction print generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with fade-resistant archival inks onto various mediums including canvas and fine art paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.

Q: What do you mean by "limited edition?"

A: Each of these series will be signed and numbered limited edition giclee prints with a Certificate of Authenticity.  Once the series is complete, there will be no more prints available.  If you would prefer a specific number out of a series, please specify and I will try to make it happen.  If there is no number preference, you will receive the lowest number of the series.

Q: How do I hang canvas board pieces with plexiglass fronts?

A: There are 2 options for hanging these pieces.  First, you can drill the four corners directly into the wall.  If doing this, you need to take the time to place anchors in the wall to prevent slippage.  The other option is to use the beautiful wall suspension units from Griplock.  If you choose this method, there will be an additional charge of $20.

Q: When I purchase a piece of art, do I own the copyright?

A: No.  When you purchase a piece of art, you own that piece, but the copyright still belongs to the artist.  In accordance with the Berne Convention for the protection of Literary and Artistic Works, the images, photographs, previous and current paintings and artwork displayed on this site are exclusively the property of Michele Valenzuela.
